I have something in mind that I want to do this weekend for the homework but I don’t think my husband will be very impressed …🤣😂🫣

Hello,

Irene, I hope that your husband will be impressed with moments from your Happy Childhood. It is nothing like sharing special moments from your youth with the ones that you love. I know that I am going to appreciate everyone stories.

Thank you for sharing.

I’m excited about my childhood homework!

One of my favorite childhood games was climbing the mango trees at my grandmother’s house—an experience I’ll never forget! Of course, there are other games I plan to enjoy with my inner child until Sunday.

Precious memories. ❤️

I loved walking in the rain on a summer sunny day, it is especially cool when one side of street is raining, and the other side of the street is dry. Just a Beautiful experience.

Thank you.

Have always wanted to go snowboarding or snow tubing. And also do a lot of traveling. That’s been my inner child all my life. 🙈

I have met my inner child before. I carry a picture of her in my billfold so I am reminded to treat her well. Sometimes I'm pretty negative, critical of myself -- in my own self talk. I would never talk to a child that way so the pic reminds me to be kind to myself. I like that little kid. (Character #3 in Dr. Bolte Taylor's book.)

That is so Beautiful- and thank you for the reminder. Thank you.

Great idea! Last weekend, I just wrote down a list of what used to bring me joy when I was young: we forget!

Hello. Thank you.

What I would love to do again, I can't. I used to live to go sledding. No snow in Oklahoma, besides that, being in oxygen and needing a wheelchair and walker makes that impossible. My husband starts his vacation Friday so not sure what we are doing.

Mia, whatever, you and your husband do will be great. Thank you for sharing.

This is awesome Graham. Absolutely love this idea. I used to carve walking sticks and haven't done it in years. Half the fun was finding a good branch to work with. I've had one on our deck ready be turned into something beautiful and useful. So that's my homework ... I'll get it started and will finish it before the end of the summer. It will take me longer than it used to due to shakey achey hands, but I don't begrudge the time! So excited about this wonderful enhancement to your podcast experiences.

Well ... I did it! I got started on my walking stick project. Started by sharpening my hunting knife and Buck pocket knife, planned what I want to do and whittled for 20 minutes. It's barely a dent but it's a start!

My inner child is happy 🤠

Looking forward to the upcoming chat...will have to talk to my inner child about the roller skating as I wasn't very good at skating as a child....might be hiking in the mountains around Boulder, CO.

I have a couple of things in mind. Go to the local park and play on the swings and eat an ice cream from the ice cream van. Memories of Sunday mornings. I will try and make the chat if I can stay up as have to get up a few hrs later for work as will be Monday morning here in uk. 😊.

We had parades!! So much fun! If it was throwable, kickable, catchable, kickable, notable, shootable, etc we were playing it!! Loved sports! Especially basketball!

Hello Graham... Whenever I look for my inner child, I get disappointed, I didn't have a very happy childhood and it's disappointing to remember this...

I loved the idea of homework, on the weekends, as here in Brazil it's very hot, very high temperatures, I prefer to go to the farm, there nature brings me peace and it's where I refresh my mind... Thank you Graham for posting the live, I'm not receiving notifications from THC, here on substack... If you do the next live on Sunday night, for me it will be great, because I'll be attentive so as not to miss it...

Infinite Blessings 🙏

A big hug. IndiaFreitas 💙 🇧🇷
