Wow, Graham, you find the best guests for your podcast. I love the ministry to men that Ivan has created and his perspective about connecting to God, nature and other men. I think women (not to generalize, but I'm generalizing) do connecting things better and men miss out. I do an annual women's weekend away but we do a different kind of hunting and we talk everything to death. 😉😂 Afterparty coming soon I hope? As usual, I have a few questions.....
This is a podcast that needs to be shared. As the mom of three sons who grew up hunting, fishing and learning how to live from the land this made me gain a new appreciation for the lessons my husband taught our boys. I am not a huge fan of hunting, but for years I have listened to conversations about respect and honor for what is provided by nature shared between the boys and their dad. In a time when men are becoming more and more demasculinized it is very powerful to recognize that that connection to God and nature is sacred. The idea of men being allowed to share feelings and conversations in a supported and positive way is wonderful. I praise Ivan for his calling and teaching. Thank you for this conversation.
I was so inspired by Ivan's dedication to providing men with a safe, yet masculine driven experience with Hello to Adventures. It's men like Ivan that other men need to be around, who have love of family, nature, God and life! A way to learn and also vent in the safety of other caring men. I just have so much hope that more and more men can get to experience life like this. I wish my son could.
What a fantastic episode. I found it incredibly informative! The discussions on wilderness and everything about this topic really opened my eyes and found it very interesting. I appreciate how Graham and Ivan presented such complex information in such an engaging way and loved seeing the nature videos. The Sasquatch was the highlight of the episode 😊 Looking forward to the after party as I’m sure that there will be lots of questions for Ivan :)
It is always so interesting how so many times we come back to nature to find solace and peace in life. We continue in nature to find guidance, get physically stronger and rejoice in our higher self by getting closer to God. Thank you Graham and Ivan for this insightful hour.
It was a fascinating and wonderful podcast. You find the most God praising men to share your life with. So happy for you. I love all of your work. Last September at the farm and meeting you was one of the greatest joys of my life. Thank you. You make life worth living🙏❤️
What a joy and inspiration to be invited into your conversation with Ivan, and to be able to experience a glimpse of your powerful weekend. My family grows a huge garden, an orchard and chickens. Eating the food we love and nurture is such a different experience than eating what we buy from the super market. This conversation re-ignited in me the importance of bringing deep reverence and appreciation to everything we consume. I have personally found so much healing and transformation through my closeness with nature, and I loved that aspect of your conversation as well. Honestly, what resonated most with me though was Ivan sharing about the bogatyr. I feel that one of the greatest tragedies (and opportunities) of our time is the degradation of the noble, embodied man and of true brotherhood. As a women, a mother of two daughters, I am deeply grateful to you both for creating spaces for men to return to this innate, invaluable part of themselves. A friend recently shared this song with me and it seems beautifully relevant: https://youtu.be/JdWTDbfy9ok?si=7LIeBfTd_i1fhxK5.
I feel that this adventure is the reason why you are where you are today. Very introspective experience. Ivan is a very special human being. Many thoughts about this podcast. Can’t wait for the after party on Saturday.
