Everyone who knows me well knows how passionate I get when I’m out in the nature looking at a beautiful sunset.
My magic painting will have to have a calm blue ocean that gives me a peaceful feeling. The sunset will have different colors of the pallet, brilliantly red and orange, purples . No matter what the colors when you look at a glowing sunset your worries fade away , it brings you peace in your soul , you feel calm and serenity deep inside . 💜💚
Well I wasn’t sure if I would post my magic painting question because mine is just about the same as yours Irene❤️. I don’t live by the ocean but am surrounded by lakes. My colors as blues and geeen just like Lake Superior when I get to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain in Marquette. My feeling is the same, peace, serenity and calmness. Great minds think alike. The saying in the UP of Michigan is 906 is Gods area code. I believe it because just sitting up on the that mountain and looking out I feel so much closer to him. 🙏
Cheryl please post it , love your answer. Your description is amazing. So much better than mine, I really need to work on my writing, I want to get better at this , this is why I’m loving this challenge, I’m way out of my comfort zone. The Lake Superior and the Sugar Loaf must be a beautiful place to visit. I’m going to add it to my bucket list! I love the photos you shared on IG . 🙏
I will post some pictures Irene from an amazing photographer 906 the sunrise and sunset is so beautiful and we were stationed there and my aunt still live there.
Cheryl you should still post it yet add the pictures . The Lake Superior and Sugar Loaf Mountain is beautiful on sunrise and sunset. I still have my aunt live in Marquette and we were stationed there my husband was a Marine recruiter 1989-1992 also I went to NMU and finished in Minnesota. My housemate at Hope Lodge lives in Gwinn.
That’s awesome so you know how beautiful it is. If you go to my Instagram I posted some pictures from a top of Sugar Loaf. My youngest just left yesterday for his Junior year at Michigan Tech. I will probably head up in September for a visit.
I feel the same about sunset as I am very obsessed about it that I would step out and stay at our backyard to watch it or sometimes I drive to the Badlands and be by natures to watch the sunset.
Irene ~ have you ever seen a Green Flash Sunset? I have only once on Sanibel Island, Fla. It is an awesome , rare occurrence. I have attached a link in case you haven't. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhznYCg13cY
Saw one in Hawaii, when I was there 5 years ago, it was amazing. Had never heard of it till my sister-in-law told me about it right as we were waiting for sunset...gone very quickly.
Yes, it happens so fast -- right before your eyes you can't believe it! There is a restaurant on Captiva called The Green Flash so I had heard of the phenomenon. I'm glad you got to see it too. It's so rare...
Sunsets are right up there with waterfalls for me. They are mesmerizing and almost magical. They are beautiful gifts from God. I love what you wrote Irene.
We had the most beautiful sunset here in Vermont (USA) the other night. It was like a dancing purplish/pinkish fluffy cloud like thing in the sky. It amazed my 12 year old granddaughter so much she took multiple pictures and sent them to our extended family.
Irene!! This is special!! All the colors and the feeling of peace !! When you look at your picture. Thanks for sharing this with us!! Sending love and blessings
Thanks Bie for your kind words. I’m not very good in words to describe my magic painting so I promise to share on Instagram soon the photo of the sunset that I’m talking about!! I fell in love with it and I took 100’s of photos!😁
Beautiful! I somehow would have guessed your painting would have something to do with one of your gorgeous sunsets. I would happily sit with you on the beach ( my happy place) and watch a sunset with you💝🙏🏼💞
Oh wow! This really hits home with my work. Oh that sweet child and her dear daddy that felt hope for those short two hours. My prayer for those real moments that exist daily for so many. Thank you for sharing, Jan.
Oh, Tricia ~ of course, YOU can relate to my poem. As a volunteer, I can't do any counseling, just recording the visit for the attorneys & judges. I am so thankful for people like you. You have one of the most important jobs in the world -- healing broken little hearts. I pray God gives you the strength and rejuvenation needed for this work. Thank you! xoxo
Thank you, Jan. I believe the same about you! Volunteers are the lifeblood because you are doing it out of complete gratitude. This is my career, so I have to constantly be checking in to make sure I am having a heart of gratitude for each little soul that walks in my door. Prayers for you as you are giving of your precious time. Thank YOU!
You are so right, Jody! I am so amazed how much love these innocent children have in them. I am blessed to help these struggling families. I love the kids!!!
I love kids too. I spent the majority of my teaching career working with kids with behavioral issues and I really enjoyed it. It was so rewarding to be a small part of their progress!
Hey, Jody ~ my hats off to you. I saw those teachers who tackled those challenges everyday. My heroes! The majority of my career was working with Jr. & Sr English students -- trying to convince them they liked reading & writing. I'm not sure about my progress... Ha! Ha!
It's always gut-wrenching to see these kids & their parents separated because of the parents' mistakes, but I am always hopeful that LOVE will prevail.
Jan ~ this is such a heartfelt time and your words gave it feelings. Part of my career was working in some situations of reuniting parents and children....your description is perfect💝
Ah, thank you, Cindy -- you get it! Loved seeing you talking to GW on Zoom. Now I feel like actually know you. Hoping things are easier with your mom. xoxo
I know what you mean. I feel that way after reading your Substack writings. Maybe there is a meet & greet in our future….I’m not terribly far from you in this great Buckeye State😊
Jan I used to be a preschool teacher alongside impoverished families. I too have seen these scenes and was proud i could be a part of the moment with the family
Thank you for sharing this Jan , while in MN. I used to volunteer at a group home and what you written here wow. I am sharing this if you don’t mind to an amazing lady.
Thank you and what you have written I had goose bumps as this almost her story. I can go on except my tears are flowing it’s hard to see the letters on my cell phone.
A picture of blue and white, like the sky and the sea
Is the best I could explain my painting to be
Full of movement, with a gentle breeze
The colours merge and separate for me
To see what's under and what's above
To feel the comfort of joy and love
To feel at peace as I float around
To feel light, at ease, not earth bound
To have the freedom to explore
What lies beneath forever more
I did mine as a poem as it just came from within me and very quickly. Blue is my favourite colour & being the colour of the sea & sky has a peace & tranquillity about it.
My painting has that feeling of floating, away from the earth. With that comes a peace, a freedom that I felt only once in my life. A car turned in front of me & there was nothing I could do. I was certain I was going to die. But I thought it's OK. I felt an all encompassing peace. Nothing else mattered. It was amazing. Of course I didn't die, but that peace I felt is the peace of my painting.
I've thought about my magic painting many times and even tried to write about it a time or two. I've seen it in real life on a couple special occasions and felt what I try to convey in this piece:
She wanders the gallery room by room, appreciating each piece of someone’s soul expressed in different styles, colors, patterns, trying to imagine what each artist wanted to convey, but not connecting with their intent. She enters a darkened room where a single painting seems to glow and move. It draws her; she moves closer, feeling warmth, peace. The painting depicts the sun setting over the ocean; soft colors of gold, coral and blue over turquoise swells stirred by a warm breeze. She’s mesmerized by movement and shifting color. She suddenly feels a sense of deep fulfillment akin to having arrived at a destination, helping someone in need, accomplishing a dream, being in God's flow. Her heart is full and free. She feels transported to an isolated beach with pristine white sand, cool water washing over her feet, a warm breeze ruffling her hair. She never wants to leave.
The ocean is inspiring from crashing waves on rocks, roaring surf upon the sand and gravel pulling back and making an incredible sound ( oh to put it to words) to the quiet lapping of the ocean upon the sand. It is all so wonderful!
I haven't answered the Magic Painting Question but I was inspired to write a Poem - something I have never done before so hope it is OK to post it. Not a long one.
This rainbow is my magic painting. God provided this rainbow as an answer to prayer. It represents forgiveness, faith, hope, joy, guidance, and HIS unfailing love. The rainbow’s bright colors have a way of inspiring me, and this picture is a reminder that God is the constant guiding force for me. Hope leads to joy; joy brings love; forgiveness leads to faith, and faith leads to guidance. The feeling of guidance and knowing it comes from God is powerful. It feels like a gentle tug of the heart that is so powerful and at times overwhelming. It pulls you into that rainbow and provides security; it gives you faith to move forward. Faith is not knowing the outcome but trusting God he will light the path. The day God forgave me and provided that rainbow has led me to where I’m at today and brings me out
Thanks Graham! I thought you might. Being that I asked you the magic painting question in a cameo back in March! Mine is definitely guidance and still is. Cheers!
This is so beautiful Anne as I have been helping a hospice since 4:00 AM yesterday he cross the rainbow last night very peacefully after his last family member arrived.
Thanks. I had a friend in choir that passed over a week ago, but her service was so uplifting and the entire choir sang at it. That was a blessing. Her family was just praising God during the service even though they were hurting. It was a blessing. No more pain or suffering.
Beautiful description of your magic painting, Anne!
The Rainbow symbolizes a covenant made by God with man, so receiving this sign more than once as happened to you is a sign of God's love and plans for you!
He's shown quite a few in the last month, but this was the very first one that led me to Heartland, and the rest his history as they say. Thank you. Take care and God bless!
Thanks Jody! I've experienced quite a few of these rainbows lately it seems like it. But this one is extra special as it represented the 1st part of this incredible journey 2 1/2 years ago. Message me anytime on IG. Would love to have a conversation. Love social media when it lets us communicate like this. Take care and God bless!
Good morning Graham and happy Tuesday . My magic painting will be from my experience seeing the bright lights. The light didn’t shine on the water but mysteriously shone within it somehow. The iridescent grass stretched endlessly over gently rolling hills upon which we’re sprinkles the most colorful wild flowers. The flowers fascinated me a delightful and delicate balance between diversity and unity .Each petal and leaf illuminated with that glorious light added just the right splashes of color to the velvety expanse of green grass. They were richer , deeper more luminescent than any colors I have ever seen in the farthest reaches of earth or in the most fantastic. They were so vibrant they pulsated with life. Cheers!
I am now resting and catching up on social media 🤣😢😂 I had the longest day yesterday as I was helping the hospice nurse here in our town since 4:00 AM yesterday morning after 12 hours I came home to shower a bite to eat then turn around until he passed away. I love end of life care.❤️
As I listened many time to Graham's Podcasts and heard all the magic painting described I always knew mine would have something to do with the beach. So,here it goes!!
TRANQUILITY
Peace and calmness of a beautiful tropical beach
The tranquility of Mother Nature surrounding me
It is very early in the morning
Golden sunrise over the aqua blue ocean
The "Birds of Paradise " are awaking with many colors
Say "Good Morning " to me
White puffy clouds moving through
The baby blue sky
Palm trees abounding waving in the wind🌴🌴
They speak to me
Could be any place Hawaii, Mexico, Aruba
Anywhere I have been
As I walk on the beach
The ocean breeze blows through my hair
And caresses my skin
The fine grains of sand tickle my feet as I walk the beach
Seagulls flying overhead
As the day ends the sunsets with vibrant shades of pink and purple
How would you explain this feeling of tranquility in your body to someone who might have never felt it before or set foot in a location such as you described?
Tranquility by definition is a state of quietness, stillness, peace, serenity etc.
Very early in the morning, with no other people around , I can sit and take in all the beautiful things I described here in QUIETNESS!!!! Even if only momentarily, l can free myself from my worries and troubled emotions, and feel PEACE. Taking in the beautiful of the place I described does this for me because I love it here. For others it could be different things or places. Thanks Graham. ❤ This whole process of writing has showed me that I can step out of my comfort zone. Even if only in a small way I can do something I never thought I could do.
Thank you so much Graham I am so pleased!!!! It is late here I had a busy day and night I will answer your question tomorrow. Thanks for the challenge.
Kathleen, I feel that our Magic Paintings go hand in hand and maybe should hang side by side. I love your description of the answer to my struggle. My "Resolution".
I’m glad you were able to learn about your family history from your mom. It is so important so you can pass it down. I wish I would have listened better to my grandparents. I’m trying to learn as much as I can from what my mom remembers.
That’s amazing that you are doing that! We tried to get Mom to write down and voice record a bunch of stuff years ago but she never made the time unfortunately.
Ah okay, a little South of Garner. My Mom was born in Uvalde so we went a few years ago to see where that side of the family is buried and she wanted to show me the old pecan mill our cousins owned. That was when we stayed at Garner.
I know! We were going to tube in San Marcos but it’s ucky. Someone needs to write a poem about it raining for days in Central Texas!
This was written the night before the challenge was given so it is not exactly what I would have sent now that Graham has sent the challenge info. I had added at the end that my writing described my magic painting so I sent it and will try to send another one with more detail about my MP later.
Vicky !! This is so beautiful !! God made everything so beautiful for us !! I love nature. The wild flowers. Trees. Even the rocks are just where they should be. !! This i makes us feel content and at peace ! Thanks for sharing this! Sending prayers and blessings. Love
As I was writing I wanted to be there so badly, but there has been a drought and the water level is lower than usual, so no tubing this summer🥲thanks Cathey
My painting is a feeling of becoming whole through all the challenges and blessings of life.
As your eyes rise from from the torn edges at the bottom of the canvas, there’s a girl who has fallen to her knees with her arms outstretched above, consumed by the pitch black of a nothingness night and nothing in sight.
As your eyes look upward, it makes way for silhouettes of mountains and rivers in the distance behind a pathway of trees gently swaying in the wind under a milky blue sky, scattered with stars gently lighting the way like lightning bugs, pushing the darkness of the night behind her. Catching glimpses of the falling stars and making little wishes.
As your eyes rise to the top of the painting, it’s immersed in bright white beams of light, signifying the smile gracing her face from below and her heart expanding with gratitude and joy for a new life outlook bathed in sunshine, warmth, goodness, light, love and a promise of another day in her journey filled with endless opportunities, gratefulness and trust of the internal guidance.
Thanks Graham! I may venture out of my comfort zone again and give painting a try next😂 Would love to hire a good painter do this one for me though-I’ll have to look around for one 🙏🏻:)
Smile gracing her face, heart/ gratitude, joy/ new outlook, promise/ new day....Laurie this made me think of you and how far you have journeyed and where you are headed into your future💝
Good morning Graham. I’m excited to share with everyone my magic painting.
My magic painting picture would be a picture of the ocean. Waves rolling into shore. The sun glistening on the water. Seagulls soaring high above. Dolphins passing by in silence. So beautiful.
So peaceful. Close your eyes and listen. Listen to the sounds. Let all the noise in your life disappear. Feel the tranquility and solitude. Let the ocean be your healer.
I really like the idea Mandy Morris had for her magic painting which was a painting you can step into. I would definitely like to be able to step into my painting when life gets a little overwhelming. Just a walk on the beach , for me, makes me see things clearer. Makes you appreciate life and brings me happiness.
I experienced a living magic painting several years ago.
My feelings were surrounded with hope, warmth, and peace of heart.
I had just finished a grueling divorce case and the sudden death of my Dad.
I was lost and I did not know where to turn. I felt so all alone.
I was walking on the beach one October afternoon. The day was cool and sunny. The sky was filled with fluffy-white clouds and sun beams peaking out behind them.
I sat at the end of the beach where the waves meet my toes. I was gazing at the sky
and started to imagine those rays were God’s arms reaching down and holding me as my sobs became louder and my body’s shaking became uncontrollable.
He held me and let me tears flow until there no more left.
I felt my anger, frustration and despair lifted from my shoulders.
I was able to drive home with peace in my heart and hope for the next day.
Whenever I see rays of sunshine it reminds me of that special day I had with God.
So beautiful. I had a similar experience when I was estranged from my eldest son. I cried out to God - if you really exist, help me now! - and I felt this awesome presence and heard an audible voice saying 'I love you - I've always loved you and I will always love you' so amazing. Only time I've ever experienced that.
Elaine, I had a similar experience of losing my dad, my nana and separating then divorcing in a years time. I escaped to the beach as well and experienced a life changing event there too. I feel this with you 🤗❤
The beautiful painting I admire upon my wall radiates a feeling of joy, true joy, which is more than a simple feeling of happiness. It is a feeling of great pleasure so deep inside that nothing compares. This joy continues to appear throughout your life to bless you when you least expect it.
To me, it seems almost indescribable, but here are some examples from life.
Hearing that first special “I love you”.
Meeting your newborn son for the first time.
A groom’s first look at his bride as she walks down the isle.
Seeing a student excel beyond all expectations.
Receiving a very special, unexpected gift.
Feeling God in the quiet times.
With this joy comes a great sense of peace so my painting would include a stunning sunset over the mountains with a cabin in the woods. There I could feel God’s presence and love surrounding me forever.
Leigh. !! You truly are a very special person!! This is so beautiful I remember some of the things that you had. Seeing my newborn for the first time!! And when they get up talking and saying I love you. At the end. Feel Gods presence !! Love surrounding us forever!! What a feeling!!! Sending you prayers and Love
This is so good Leigh. I can especially relate to seeing your newborn for the first time and seeing a student excel. God's special blessings for sure!!
I’m walking along the rocky Cornish coast, it’s windy and it’s wild, I breath in the salt air. Scattered with pirate coves where my dog loves to run and bring back driftwood, the sound of the waves moving in and out of the shore line bring me a feeling of peace. The sea grass scattered thru out the white sand, moving with the wind. I look up the sandy slop thru the hedgerow of wild flowers, I see my cottage facing the ocean from on top of the slop, as I walk along this craggy coast of England, I feel like I can breathe I feel at peace with myself and have a feeling of a gentle kind of loneliness that makes me feel one with the earth and God
Super, Halina! I felt like I was right there. Most of the beaches I have been to have been sandy and leading up to marsh grass so it was so cool to "visit" the "craggy coast" with you!
Halina. !! That’s the greatest feeling of peace with yourself and with God 🙏Thanks for sharing this with us it’s beautiful!! Sending you prayers and. My. Love

You know me too well :)
Beautiful Irene
🙏💜
Very peaceful writing, Irene!❤️
Thanks Mary 🙏
My magic painting would be a short video clip from a visit I supervised with a child & her non-custodial parent.
I opened the front door
And there stood HOPE
A 2 ½ foot bundle of joy
Adorned with curly blonde hair
Dressed in a sparkly pink t-shirt
Carrying her Rainbow Mermaid
At the back door
There stood Dad
A 6 ft pillar of despair
Covered with bruises & dirty long hair
Dressed in his clothes from lockup
Carrying his release papers
“Daddy,” the joyful moppet squealed
As he kneeled down,
She threw her tiny arms around his tattooed neck.
For two hours that day
Dad had HOPE
This is so good. YES! I love this one. Thank you for sharing Jan 🙌🏼
Thank you! I enjoyed trying to bring this sweet, hopeful moment alive for others.
Oh wow! This really hits home with my work. Oh that sweet child and her dear daddy that felt hope for those short two hours. My prayer for those real moments that exist daily for so many. Thank you for sharing, Jan.

This tugs my heart strings, a Dad who loves his baby and will do anything to get to her 🥹
...and seeing a nonjudgmental two year old hugging her "flawed" daddy is pure love. It gives me Hope every time too.
Yes!!
This is beautiful. I can feel the hope.
Awesome! Although it could seem sad, it is a picture of pure love & hope.
This is very poignant, Jan, and touches me deeply. Thanks so much for sharing!
Glad you liked it, Pam! It was a very touching moment. I see it often with these little ones -- trying to love their broken parents back to life.
I absolutely love this! Kids are so compassionate and forgiving, even to neglectful or abusive parents. Thanks for the work you do!!

It's hard to convince most kids to like reading and especially writing (LOL). I bet you'll never know how many kids you touched!!
Really nice Jan. Thank you for share
Thank YOU!
Wow! A magical painting/video with so much Hope.
Thank you for taking us there, for sharing the intensity of hope.
You paint it so thoroughly I can imagine being the father, the child and you. The pain, the sorrow, the agony, the joy, the peace, the hope.
Thank you, Deborah! xoxo
Wow! I was able to visualize this scene and my eyes watered with hope along with this father.
Thanks for sharing your experience, Jan!
It's always gut-wrenching to see these kids & their parents separated because of the parents' mistakes, but I am always hopeful that LOVE will prevail.

Oh, where do you live? I'm in for a meet & greet someday...
I can picture this in my mind. Very moving.
Hi Christine ~ excited my poem helped you picture this wonderful moment. Thanks!
Jan this is very emotional
Thanks, Halina! It definitely was a mixture of hope & sadness.
Such a heartfelt story, there is nothing like the love of a child, unconditional and trusting. It warms your heart.
OMG! What an angel you are! This is beautiful.
Thank you, Barbara! I am blessed to work with these families.
Jan I used to be a preschool teacher alongside impoverished families. I too have seen these scenes and was proud i could be a part of the moment with the family
Oh, Bonnie ~ you must have done a lot of hugging & loving yourself. Preschool teachers are God's love personified. xoxo
Thank you for sharing this Jan , while in MN. I used to volunteer at a group home and what you written here wow. I am sharing this if you don’t mind to an amazing lady.
Ah, Lucy, then you understand the feelings that go with this poem. Yes, please, share it with your friend. xoxo

Ah yes, this...
This is beautiful Christine.
So amazing how so many of us drawn to the ocean
The breeze and the sunsets!!
💗
I have so many amazing memories of being at the beach from my childhood. It's a place that makes me feel light & free.
Beautiful imagery, Christine!
Know I wasn't supposed to do a poem, but it just came to me. Thanks Cathey. I had hoped the images would come through.
Graham never said not to do a poem, he just gave us a prompt to write about our magic painting. You did a beautiful job!
Christine ~ your beautiful poem had me floating with you and feeling peace and freedom💝
I'm so glad you had that feeling from my little poem. 🙏💕
I did ~ I really enjoyed it, Christine.🙏🏼💞
Beautiful Christine ❤️
Thank you Anna. 🙏💕
Love this!
Thanks Barbara💕🙏
Beautiful Christine 💖
Thanks my friend.
I love the point of view you used for this and the way you embedded it in a story!
Thanh you!
Thanks, Aimee. Had fun with it.
I love this, Cathey. It makes me never want to leave that place also!!
So very descriptive Cathey. It draws one into the warmth of the sunset & the coolness of the ocean all at once.
I feel the same way about the ocean and the peace it brings. Love your magic painting!
Unfortunately I don't live close to the ocean, but try to visit once a year. It's always so inspiring!
The ocean is inspiring from crashing waves on rocks, roaring surf upon the sand and gravel pulling back and making an incredible sound ( oh to put it to words) to the quiet lapping of the ocean upon the sand. It is all so wonderful!
It's funny how the beach seems to draw us in. Love this Cathey.
Definitely a lot of ocean in so many magic paintings! 😊
Oooooo such a delightful painting that draws you in and takes you there.
So beautiful!
Thank you Cathey.
I really enjoyed this, Cathey~ I don’t want to leave either...we can just sit together, lost in our thoughts💝
Love this Cathey. ❤️
Well written.
I haven't answered the Magic Painting Question but I was inspired to write a Poem - something I have never done before so hope it is OK to post it. Not a long one.
THE TREE
A small Tree
Decades old
Stunted growth
Stuff buried deep down
Blocking roots from growing
Stopping full potential
Free Roots for growth
To be a shelter from the storms
To bear fruit for nourishment
To create shade when hot
Potential to be what it was created to be
A flourishing Tree
That Tree is me.
Love it Teresa. Continue to Flourish! Both in your writing and as the wonderful human being that you are🙏🏼
Thank you. I appreciate your challenges as they make me move out of my comfort zone.
Teresa~this a beautiful description...a flourishing You💝

Such beautiful imagery.
Yes, you are a flourishing tree, planted by the waters. A shelter. Nourishing, flourishing.
So powerful. You are that tree.
I can see it and feel it.
Wonder imagery, Teresa!!!
Teresa. Thanks for sharing this it’s beautiful!! All about you. Beautiful words!!! Sending you prayers and blessings ❤️
I love this! What a beautiful description of personal growth.
The day God forgave me and provided that rainbow has led me to where I’m at today and brings me out
of my comfort zone.

🌈 ☀️ I resonate with your chosen feeling of guidance Anne! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Angela! You’re right, it has happened more than once and twice two weeks in a row several weeks ago.
Beautiful painting, Anne ~ God continues to show you rainbows for a reason.....He loves you very much🌈💝
He's shown quite a few in the last month, but this was the very first one that led me to Heartland, and the rest his history as they say. Thank you. Take care and God bless!
🙏🏼💞
Love rainbows. They are a gift we get after the rain.
Yes indeed! Thanks Christine!
This is awesome, Anne. You and I have so much in common with our faith. I should message you on IG sometime so we can have a conversation!!
Anne . I love this . Rainbows are a inspiration to me.
Thanks Jody! This actually happened and started the journey to discover Heartland and you know the rest!
So very beautiful
Yes! A rainbow is so much more powerful and promising then we can ever know.
The ultimate promise. ❤️
So blessed He gives us a reminder of His gifts and promise each time we see a rainbow in the sky!
So true Deborah. Has happened to me quite a few times lately. Thank you and God bless! 🙏❤️
Thanks Susan! That picture and that rainbow hold a lot of meaning for me.
Cheers!
That's beautiful Lucy. ❤️
Lucy. !! This is so beautiful. !! You have a great gift with words. I enjoyed reading all your comments. Sending you prayers and blessings. My Love
Thank you Patty I appreciate you it was from my experience from my third surgery they have to resuscitate me the second time.
Sending prayers and my Love.
Absolutely beautiful Lucy my friend I love your magic painting 🖼
Thank you Roxanne ❤️🙏
Your welcome my friend hope you have a awesome day ❤️
I am now resting and catching up on social media 🤣😢😂 I had the longest day yesterday as I was helping the hospice nurse here in our town since 4:00 AM yesterday morning after 12 hours I came home to shower a bite to eat then turn around until he passed away. I love end of life care.❤️
Sounds like you are describing heaven, Lucy....absolutely beautiful!💝
Thank you Cindy and I do think so too and so peaceful amazing experience.
I played this awhile ago with one of your podcasts in a poem form so I’m using it for the challenge❣️
My picture would be all the colours of nature echoing these sounds
Waves whispering
Clouds calling
Grasses giggling
Trees talking
Rocks remembering
Birds babbling
Sun shining
All reminding me love lives!
Cool! I love alliteration 😎 Beautifully written Diane ✍🏼
Thanks graham❣️
Diane. I love this!! Beautiful. I love the forest! Thanks for sharing this. Sending you prayers and blessings. My. Love
I heard each sound😊 Thank-you, Diane💝
Delightful!
As I listened many time to Graham's Podcasts and heard all the magic painting described I always knew mine would have something to do with the beach. So,here it goes!!
TRANQUILITY
Peace and calmness of a beautiful tropical beach
The tranquility of Mother Nature surrounding me
It is very early in the morning
Golden sunrise over the aqua blue ocean
The "Birds of Paradise " are awaking with many colors
Say "Good Morning " to me
White puffy clouds moving through
The baby blue sky
Palm trees abounding waving in the wind🌴🌴
They speak to me
Could be any place Hawaii, Mexico, Aruba
Anywhere I have been
As I walk on the beach
The ocean breeze blows through my hair
And caresses my skin
The fine grains of sand tickle my feet as I walk the beach
Seagulls flying overhead
As the day ends the sunsets with vibrant shades of pink and purple
This painting on my wall
Is a constant reminder of God's creations and
My "Happy Place " when I can't always be there🌴🌴
Awesome Kathleen🙌🏼
I answered your question in a way I thought would help someone to feel my feelings. Really almost have to be there to fully understand and feel.
I did answer this question.
Kathleen, I feel that our Magic Paintings go hand in hand and maybe should hang side by side. I love your description of the answer to my struggle. My "Resolution".
Thank you Donna for the kind words I appreciate that and wouldn't that be something our painting side by side!!
Kathleen - I love the beach and your magic painting had me feeling I was there with you 🤗
Thank you.
Kathleen I felt like I was right on the beach I enjoyed your post.
Thank you Kathy
Thank you Anne.
Very tranquil Kathleen. I felt it as I read it. I have similar recollections of being on a tropical beach and you described it perfectly 😊❤
Thank so much. I appreciate it.
Well written, Kathleen, can feel the peace and the air on my face.
Thank you Linda ❤️
Kathleen . This is so beautiful and love the ocean and your feeling of Tranquility.
Tkanks Jody.
Beautiful visual of your magic painting Kathleen, sounds peaceful 🏝
Tkanks Lisa
Kathleen~your words transported me to St Thomas, VI and a beautiful and very special time there. Your magic painting is perfect💝
Thanks Cindy.
🙏🏼💞
Thanks David
Nature’s Beauty - The Frio
As springs allow the gift from nature to let go,
this icy cold water continues to flow over the rocks below.
The sun shines bright bringing warmth to the soul
as the icy cold water numbs the toes.
While children open their fist exposing hands full of rocks,
baby minnows find shelter from the tree’s exposed parts.
The floaters have fun following 1 by 1 through the man-made chutes
oblivious to the predicament that downstream will bring.
My magic painting is in front of me now with the beauty God made for our eyes to adore.
This feeling of contentment makes me feel at peace and complete,
Gratitude surrounds me and I have to ask, Am I in Heaven, I am so blessed.
Yes! Love this Vicky 🙌🏼
Thanks Graham, the Frio is close to Austin, so you may want to go float if you get to visit Texas.
We need to do a rain dance 1st to make it rain for days in central Tx😂🙏🏻🤞
Let’s get to it then! 😂🌧 https://open.spotify.com/track/2WPL2L4oHxCVWtQv62p5eI?si=dZgREYlGR52njoGySehGwQ&context=spotify%3Asearch%3Arain%2Bdance%2Bmusic%2Bblackfoot
Vicky, have you been to Garner State Park? The Frio runs right through it. Graham, It’s a great place to camp and has RV hook ups 😁
Yes, but never stayed there. We stayed in Concan. I wish the water level was not so low, I want to go now. We need rain😩
Beautiful ❤️
Thanks Carole 😍
Vicky, your written expression makes me want to be there floating....💝
Cindy, I wish I was there also, thank you 😎
This is beautiful vicky it expresses such a beautiful feeling
Something I wish I could feel more often, I do appreciate it when it arrives
I thank God for the beautiful things on this earth that we can enjoy and many times we take for granted
Very nice Vicky you did a good job!!
Thank you Kathleen, it was tough, but I am glad that I challenged myself.
This was written the night before the challenge was given so it is not exactly what I would have sent now that Graham has sent the challenge info. I had added at the end that my writing described my magic painting so I sent it and will try to send another one with more detail about my MP later.
I think this serves as a magic painting Vicky. Our paintings can have movement and I saw yours as a MP before your edit. I think this is perfect!
Yes! The Frio! Love it! 🤩
This is so beautiful Vicky. I felt like I was there.
Let’s go😎
Maybe we can some day. 😊
That would be fun
Vicky !! This is so beautiful !! God made everything so beautiful for us !! I love nature. The wild flowers. Trees. Even the rocks are just where they should be. !! This i makes us feel content and at peace ! Thanks for sharing this! Sending prayers and blessings. Love
God has made so many beautiful landscapes. Sending prayers and blessings back to you 😍thanks Patty
Beautiful description of your magic painting.
Thanks Jody, I love rocky rivers😍
A beautiful description, love the picture I envisioned as I read it.
We’re you getting cold from thinking about the chilly water😂thanks Linda😍
Beautifully descriptive, Vicky!
As I was writing I wanted to be there so badly, but there has been a drought and the water level is lower than usual, so no tubing this summer🥲thanks Cathey
Oh David, it is so hard for me to write. Thanks 😍
My magic painting is a mountain landscape
High mountain peaks in the backdrop
One last bit of snow
A spring rises
and silver water ripples down
Green meadows
decorated with wild flowers
red, purple, yellow, white…
Butterflies flutter
Bees buzzing
A rock is invitingly waiting
for someone
who takes the time
to sit in stillness
and enjoy
I look at this painting
and my heart overflows
with gratitude and appreciation
for God’s creation here on earth
Now, I know where your rock is, I can easily imagine you in this beautiful picture... I love your magic painting 💞✨
Bie ~ breathtaking, I want to take the time and sit on that rock💝
Love the mountains, can see the rock looking out over a mountain valley!
I can feel myself on those mountain peaks! I remember climbing "14-ners" in Colorado!
Bie. ! Beautiful well written
Thanks for sharing this with us ! I love Gods creations. Sending Blessings prayers and my Love
Amazing visuals Laurie! I hope you paint this someday or hire someone who can do it for you! Thank you for sharing with everyone🙏🏼

Hope everyone enjoys their magic paintings.
Take care my friends! 🙏❤️
Nice job Mary!!! My Magic painting is ocean and beach also I love to be there. Would love to live near the ocean!
Mary, this is beautiful! The love of the ocean is a common thread shared by many of us.
Rays of Hope
That is so awesome! I love the image of the sun rays being God's arms.
Beautiful Elaine!!
Rays of sunshine....your personal reminder of peaceful feelings....beautiful, Elaine💝
Very touching
I love the visual this brings! Beautiful!
Elaine, I had a similar experience of losing my dad, my nana and separating then divorcing in a years time. I escaped to the beach as well and experienced a life changing event there too. I feel this with you 🤗❤
Elaine. So sorry you went Through allYou have losing your dad and divorce. At the same time!! Sending you prayers and love. Blessings
My Magic Painting
I can see your description in my mind like a movie! Wonderful Leigh 🙏🏼
Thank you Graham for the encouragement and opportunity to do this.
Amazing examples of joy🥰I love your writing
Thank you
Leigh. !! You truly are a very special person!! This is so beautiful I remember some of the things that you had. Seeing my newborn for the first time!! And when they get up talking and saying I love you. At the end. Feel Gods presence !! Love surrounding us forever!! What a feeling!!! Sending you prayers and Love
Thank you
Leigh, I feel all the feels from your “firsts”...initial joy with the first and then a peaceful gratitude from the experience. Thank- you for sharing💝
Thank you
This is so good Leigh. I can especially relate to seeing your newborn for the first time and seeing a student excel. God's special blessings for sure!!

My Magic Painting would be ......
You brought us to England with you, Halina. Such a lovely visit. I felt like I was with you❤
Super, Halina!
My. Love
Thank you patty❤️
Great job Halina, you took me with you , I really want to go to England now!!
Halina~this is beautiful. You’ve taken me to England and I want to be in your painting 💝
