The irony of this post! I just spent time learning about AI and ChatGPT. As a teacher I worry this will have a negative impact on the creativity of students. The potential to decrease communication abilities and opportunities is a true threat to our society. Like you I love technology and the benefits it allows, but there is something important about putting pencil to paper or to turn the pages in a book.
Great newsletter Graham! Lots to ponder but one thing for sure human interaction with one another is vital! Internet and other tools can be very helpful if used and explored in the right way. That is an individual choice of course! Thank you!
Wow, Graham, the timing of this newsletter is perfect. A friend and I were just talking about this topic last Friday, we both wondered what your thoughts were on the topic, said it would be a good podcast...this morning here is your newsletter! The information you shared is enlightening for me..didn't know about GPTChat, and the other links are expanding my knowledge about the AI world. Like you said "the genie is out of the bottle" there needs to be proper guidelines for it's use. I also feel we all need to be aware of losing the person to person contact that the human spirit needs to fully thrive. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and additional information to help us as we learn about AI and how to navigate it.
Continued blessings!
On another note, I use navigation on my phone and in my vehicle..I also carry the old navigation system with me..you know "Rand McNally Road Atlas"...
The cover of your new book looks amazing. ❤️Love it.
Normally when I travel, I tape maps with me. On the one occasion I didn't, and relied solely on the GGS, I too got lost by going the wrong way and had an accident where I rolled my car. Luckily I wasn't hurt, but since then, I always take a map with me.
With AI still in its infancy, I try to try to do the research I order to know what it's all about.
Thank you, Graham, for talking about such a relevant topic. Still have so much to learn.
I'm wrapt to hear you can now visit USA and just see where your travels take you. Can't wait to hear your stories and photos you take along the way. All the best mate👍🤗💕
Thanks for sharing this, Graham. AI is getting more and more prevalent now. My son used something like this to write a business profile and was amazed at how clever it was - but also rather spooky! He decided against it as he felt it lacked the personal touch - even though it was perfectly written.
I've been prey to these Bots in the past but now I'm getting more in tune I can spot them pretty fast! I'm sure they imitate people online - people like you and Kerry and others in the public eye. However, it is quite easy to tell 😉 once you are more aligned. I did the quiz! I got 7 out of 10 correct - erring on the side of AI. I'm more likely to be sceptical these days. I want to see, touch and feel real people in 3d. Reminds me of that film 🎥 Vanilla Sky - I want a REAL LIFE. I trust God will enlighten me in all the ways I need to be enlightened. Less time online and more out in nature.
I appreciate your views on AI. I am concerned on how AI will affect education. I was subbing in a government class where a teacher had assigned a project where the students had to create an imaginary candidate for president along with a campaign strategy. One of the students put it into ChatGPT and it spit out the result in less than 2 minutes!!!! I was speechless.
Great newsletter! Thanks for all the information. I believe for me that AI will significantly increase my productivity because I have such little time to write when my brain and heart are in their best state for doing so! I can see myself using it to improve my conversational vocabulary. I read at a much higher level than I converse!!! Haha.
However, I see AI as dangerous for those that will abuse it. For example, a college student that will learn that he/she can stay out later partying now because they can use AI to clean up their writing therefore the process will take then much less time and effort. I wonder how Universities will address this potential problem?
I'm looking forward to the new podcast and hang out afterwards later today.
Congratulations on continuing to improve our THC experience! I am still amazed some times when I realize another benefit it offers. I am quickly realizing how THC could be of benefit for many others! It points me to so many interesting articles!
This is my second comment on this newsletter, but as I was reading the comments I wondered if I or others had used AI to write them they could maybe be more “perfect”, but they will lack heart and passion which can never be artificial. I sincerely hope we never lose the human touch.
The cover of your new book looks amazing. I am looking forward to the new book. Thanks for this powerful newsletter. Have a wonderful road trip and for sharing all your adventures along the way. Hope you are coming to New York on your road trip it would be great to meet you. Thanks again Graham for sharing this fantastic newsletter. Take care be safe and enjoy. 🤗❤️
Thank you, Graham, for this thoughtful, informative newsletter. The evolution of artificial intelligence and the long term lasting effects remain somewhat of a mystery and may not be apparent until its use is defined and refined. Will it be a convenience or a mind control/bending tool? Will our brains atrophy? Finding a balance between the two will be one of the biggest challenges we face now and going forward. What I contemplate is how often I hear more and more people on this platform and elsewhere talking about simplifying and decluttering their lives, to get in touch with their inner self, to return to simpler times of human kindness, emotion, human touch, as you say “what it means to be human”. Simple, Silent, Strength. AI, in my opinion, will present a definite challenge to that journey! Thank you again for your insightful thoughts about the far reaching consequences of AI. Continued blessings on your journey.
I will be back in the Founder’s Group no worries. As far as AI I have too many hurdles and questions. I still struggle with zoom. It makes me think of all the mass produced paintings I see at Hobby Lobby and know people buy them. The pictures are pretty but not unique. Thank you for your research it may allow me to have a more open mind about it.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts AI. I am too old to want artificial intelligence controlling people and the world. We need to live in the real world, too many people live in an artificial world.
Thank you, Graham, for another informative newsletter. I haven’t delved much into AI at all. Maybe it is something we all need to be a bit more aware of and how it may affect us.
I’m sure you are looking forward to your USA trip, as departure time nears. I look forward to getting the ‘roving reports’ (and photos/videos) as you wend your away wherever the road takes you.
Looking forward to receiving your new book too - whenever.
Stay safe and enjoy your travels, when you eventually leave. 🥰
I fear that more and more, we are moving away from each other, contenting ourselves with just searching in a machine, instead of interacting...
Of course it helps, when we need a direction, faster and more complete, but never letting what we feel prevail.
From what I know of you, I think you will use this resource (AI) little, because what is worth more is your heart...
It is your creation...
It is what comes out of you, and that can never come out of something artificial.
I am a dreamer, maybe I'm wrong, or even I don't understand much of what AI is, I know I would never use something that would interfere with my mind...
I'm from the old days, I use pencil and paper, to write my poems, instead from a keyboard...
I love bookmark from a book...
Ps... I have a bookmark, with 3 pictures of you... Beautiful. I got it from a friend ❤️
Ever tried to have a conversation with Alexa? It's very interesting. There are so many programmed responses. I have tried to 'trip it up' a few times when at my friends lodge. Ask some really weird questions that get it confused. AI is limited. God is unlimited 🙏
Thank you for all your information on these new things that come out. Only you would do this . Looking forward to your new book. Got your first one , love it. Blessings to you on your journey to travel US and other places. You are a very talented , caring young man. Blessings to you.

Graham Hello
From my heart to your heart
I see the AI, with a certain fear...
I send you a thousand stars of light 💥
And much love...
Infinite blessings 🙏 Cheers 🥂
